Our Story
Gold Rush Cookie Company is the collaborative vision of husband and wife team Karen and Mark Gold.
Why did we start baking? Chocolate chip cookies are Karen's favorite comfort treat. It's her go-to dessert. Fresh-baked, warm, and that homemade taste are the most satisfying aspects for her. Mark loves a variety of desserts, but, most times he enjoys the simplicity, flavor and texture of a cookie. Unlike a cake or pie, you don't have to share a cookie, it's your own personal delight.
Cookies are love and joy. We believe that the baking process and sharing these amazing desserts will help create community and happiness. A warm cookie and a glass of cold milk is a timeless pleasure that takes us away to a place of comfort.
Gold Rush Cookie Company represents our leap of faith to pursue our own business given our motivation and professional baking training. The name reminds us of the inspirational gold prospectors of the late 19th century, who took on risk and hard work to follow their dreams.

We work with local suppliers when possible to source the freshest ingredients, and we use high quality ingredients such as Guittard chocolate, and SunMaid raisins to ensure the highest quality. Our goal is to make your tastebuds happy!
